In case you don’t know what to expect- Every lady down here would be sharing  their regular, working, and updated hair routine in the form of a video.

But if you don’t have time to watch long videos, don’t worry; I will summarize them all for you.

But before then, I wrote a post about the curly girl method frequently asked questions and answers for beginners– This is a guide you’ll love if you’re new to the curly girl method.

Penny Tovar

After two years, the popular hair Youtuber Penny Tovar finally decided to share her curly hair care routine. Let’s see what she got for us all.

Total Time Spent on Hair: Approximately 30 Minutes.

Her entire hair routine consists of four products that are silicon-free, sulfate-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Here is the link to her amazon official store or her hair products ultimate list–  if you want to get the full list of hair and skin products that she recommends and uses.

Here’s a breakdown summary of the video

1. Scalp Massage Before Shower

According to Healthline research, scalp massage helps increase hair thickness by stretching the hair follicles’ cells.

So the very first thing she does before the shower is to massage her scalp. This might seem very simple, but I can tell you that it’s very effective for hair growth.

2. Wash Hair With Shampoo and Conditioner

The shampoo she used in the video is Giovanni Shampoo; If you don’t want to buy it in bulk or can’t find it at any local store, you can check through the link and buy from Amazon.

After rinsing out the shampoo, she conditions her hair with Giovanni Conditioner.

Next, she follows up by applying the conditioner again, then uses her finger to detangle the hair (this is to get all the knots out and prevent forceful hair breakage)

After detangling with her finger, she uses a Wide-tooth Comb to perform the final detangling justice. This way, Penny ensures that she doesn’t have smaller leftover knots.

3. Styling

Just like you need products for washing, you also need products for styling. And the job of these products is to keep your hair under control.

As mentioned in the video, Penny uses two products to style her hair ( Rahua control cream &  kinky curly curling custard)

First, Penny applies a little of the Rahua control cream, detangles her hair with a brush. After that, she applies and soothes down some of the Kinky curly custard creams to flatten the cuticle and reduce flyaways.

After that, she applies a little blob of the Kinky curly cream again, and fingers comb the cream through her hair. The next thing is to scrunch the hair to give it back its definition.

Next is to Plop with her wig cap. After plopping for about 10 minutes, the next thing is to divide hair into sections and diffuse each section for 5 minutes.

After that,  she blows dry her hair with a Dyson Hairdryer.

Lastly, if she notices that the hair is still crunchy, all she does is scrunch out the crunch, and that’s all. I hope you enjoyed the video and found it helpful, and don’t forget to subscribe to Penny Youtube Channel.

Jasmine Brown

The next person here is our famous and verified Youtuber, Jasmine. I can remember watching her previous wash-and-go natural curly hair care routine video.

And her colored hair routine video where she explained how the products she was using on her naturally curly hair stopped working on her color-treated curly hair.

Now she has a new hair, a new and exciting hair routine that you might love to copy.

So let’s get started.

Here’s a quick breakdown of her routine according to what she explained in the video.

1. Wash Hair With Shampoo and Conditioner

As expected, the first thing is to wash your hair. Remember that you do not need to wash your hair every time you want to style your curly hair.

Twice or thrice a month is good and enough depending on your hair type and how dirty your hair is.

FYI, frequent hair washes with shampoo can flush out the natural oils your hair needs, and the process also adds frequent stress to your hair strands.

After washing, she follows up with a little blob of conditioner so it doesn’t dry out quickly, then she uses a wide-tooth comb to comb through.

2. Apply Leave-In conditioner

The next thing is to apply a few blobs of Pillow Soft Curl Conditioner and evenly distribute it all through her hair. Then she brushes down the product with Denman Brush.

Before applying any other product, Jasmine has to split her hair into sections, so it’s easier for her to manage.

Next is to apply the TGIN Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer on every micro-sections of her hair and thoroughly rake through with her fingers.

While the hair is still in sections, she applies and squeezes in the Camille Rose Curl Maker, brushes the hair, and follows up with Jelly Soft Curls Gel.

Lastly, She repeats the process of every section, starting with their micro section.

3. Styling

After applying all the above-mentioned products, she creatively curls and scrunches her hair with a microfibre towel and her hands.

Because of time, Jasmine had to use Dyson Dryer to blow dry her hair and creatively use the dryer to scrunch the hair.

Also, if she notices some chunky curly hair strand, she splits it.

To make it more interesting, Jasmine creatively uses the Dyson hairdryer (without the diffuser) to blow some heat into her scalp for more hair volume.

Lastly, Jasmine uses an extra-long tooth comb to pick out her hair and the end of the Jasmine curly hair care routine. Was the video helpful? Don’t forget to like her video and Subscribe to Jasmine Brown Youtube Channel.

Before we move on to the next routine, I wrote a post on the best real-life curly girl method before and after transformation– don’t forget to check it out.

Jasmine Briones

The next here is Jasmine as well; now we have two Jasmine- that’s interesting. Well, this video is not totally based on curly hair- so what you should be expecting is a Wavy hair routine.

Which is not bad for people who have naturally wavy hair or people starting their curly hair journey.

Let’s dive into the video right away.

Here’s a quick breakdown summary of the video above.

1. Washing The Hair

Remember that the main purpose of washing hair is to remove dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and hair care product build-ups.

Jasmine uses the Prose shampoo and conditioner, but a good alternative is Wow Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner.

After washing with Shampoo, she applies the conditioner and finger combes the hair while it’s still wet, then rinses out the hair conditioners leaving a little behind.

Next, she squeezes out water from the hair with a microfibre towel till the hair dries out.

2. Moisturinzing Morning Routine

Although she skipped some parts in the video and went straight to her morning hair routine, the step-by-step process is still the same.

So Jasmine sprays her hair with her homemade leave-in conditioner until it’s well moisturized, then scrunch out any extra liquid with a microfibre T-shirt.

3. Styling Process & Products

For the styling stage, the next product she uses on her hair is the Loba Mane Styling cream- alternatively, you can use the Maui Styling Cream. After applying it on her, she does a little bit of scrunching to encourage the hair waves.

After that, she combs, rubs, and scrunches through her hair with the Kristin Ess Gel to make the waves hold together and keep flyaway hairs at bay.

4. Diffusing the Hair

According to Jasmine, diffusion is the most important process in the hair routine because it helps her waves turn out nice and seal them in place and give the hair more volume.

For the Dryer and Diffuser settings – Jasmine diffuses her hair on low power while the hairdryer setting is either on medium or high.

Lastly, Jasmine rubs through her hair with an Anti-Frizz Serum, and that’s the end of it. Did you find the video helpful? If yes, make sure you subscribe to Jasmine’s Youtube Channel, and don’t forget to like her videos.

Miss Marayah Travicia

In this video, Maray Travicia shares her latest beginner-friendly curly hair routine.

Let’s see what she got for us.

Here’s a simple summary of the whole process.

1. Washing Hair

It always starts with rinsing or/and washing hair with a good curly hair shampoo. She recommends and uses the Coconut Curl Shampoo, which she rinses all off when she is done washing.

After that, she applies, squeezes through, and massages the Tea Tree Jojoba scalp oil on her hair because her scalp is always dry.

Don’t forget the conditioner- lady! As expected, she uses a good Tresemme Conditioner– She has to divide her hair into sections, collect a handful of the conditioner and scrub through her hair.

In the process, she finger detangles her hair but still needs a hairbrush to make everything run through smoothly.  And the last part of the washing stage is to rinse it out.

2. Applying Leave-in Conditioner

Seem like Miss Travicia has a good choice of conditioner. She gets a good of the Pantene Pro-V Conditioner and spread it all through her hair, then scrunch.

Also, she uses the Tea Tree Scalp Care Conditioner because it helps hold her hair together.

3. Styling and Edge Control

Travicia also keeps her edges at heart, so she uses one of the best edge control gel- the Eco Gel with a toothbrush and creatively works on her edges.

Lastly, she does not use any heat styling tool- She allows the hair to air dry. In my opinion, this is one of the simplest curly hair care routines I have seen so far.
